Our client is seeking a Infrastructure Engineer to contribute to building and maintaining system software for autonomous or robotic platforms. Develop tools for configuration, updates, and fleet management, ensuring reliable operation. Support integration between software and hardware, enabling smooth production deployment.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Linux-based system software (x86, ARM)
- Integrate OS components with cloud services and hardware
- Build and maintain Linux distributions for robotic platforms
- Contribute to system architecture and integration
- Apply basic security practices
- Automate tasks and tooling with Python
- 3+ years in system-level software development
- Strong Linux skills on desktop and embedded devices
- Proficient in Python and/or Go
- Knowledge of Linux networking, bridging, routing, and virtualization
- Experience with AWS cloud
- Familiarity with Linux distributions (Ubuntu, NixOS)
- Experience with containers (Docker) and virtualization
- Knowledge of build systems (Bazel a plus)
- Understanding of Linux kernel basics and driver development
- Willingness to work cross-functionally and with custom hardware
