Location: 100% Remote

Employment Type: Full‑Time

Clearance Requirement: U.S. Public Trust (or ability to obtain)

Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience and technical interview)

Role Overview

Fathom Management, Inc. is seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer with Federal and Veterans Affairs (VA) experience to support mission‑critical CRM modernization initiatives. This role focuses on designing, developing, customizing, and supporting enterprise solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service
, enabling improved service delivery, operational efficiency, and user experience across federal environments.

The Senior Developer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, federal program teams, and IT leadership to deliver secure, scalable, and high‑quality Dynamics 365 solutions aligned with federal standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service).
  • Configure Dynamics 365 modules to meet business requirements, including:
    • Entity creation
    • Form and view design
    • Business rules
    • Process automation
  • Integrate Dynamics 365 with enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and middleware, including Azure Logic Apps and Power Automate.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
  • Conduct unit testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage deployment of customizations and updates.
  • Provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and solution architectures.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to Microsoft best practices, federal security standards, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service).
  • Strong proficiency in Dynamics 365 development and customization, including:
    • Java Script
    • C#
    • .NET
    • Power Platform
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 APIs, web services, and integration tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • U.S. Citizenship required, with the ability and willingness to obtain a U.S. Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics solutions within Federal agencies, particularly the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
  • Prior collaboration with VA and federal stakeholders to optimize CRM workflows and enhance service delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting CRM systems within a federal agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of VA operations, policies, and programs, especially client‑facing technology solutions.
  • Experience with Azure services, including Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform certifications.
  • Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and tools supporting Dynamics 365 deployments.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
