We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise IAM Architect to lead the strategy, design, and implementation of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystems. In this high-impact role, you will define the roadmap for securing identity across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will serve as the technical authority on federation, authentication, and authorization, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and secure technical solutions.
Responsibilities- Strategic Architecture: Design and implement comprehensive strategies to manage the full identity lifecycle, ensuring secure user authentication and authorization across hybrid cloud and on‑premise infrastructures.
- Federation & Protocols: Serve as the subject matter expert on federation technologies, specifically designing solutions using ADFS and Ping Identity
. Demonstrate deep technical command of SAML, OAuth, and OIDC protocols. - Cloud Security: Architect and engineer robust IAM solutions within Microsoft Azure and AWS environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Governance & Standards: Define, document, and maintain reference architectures, technology standards, and security policies. Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies and create tactical and strategic roadmaps.
- Active Directory Leadership: Provide expert direction on Active Directory infrastructure deployments, focusing on security best practices, vulnerability management, and system resiliency.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with product vendors, internal governance teams, and business stakeholders to demonstrate and align application solutions with enterprise goals.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a senior escalation point for technical infrastructure support and system integration issues, providing mentorship and direction to engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of total experience in Information Security.
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- 3+ years of experience in an enterprise‑level Architecture role.
- Deep domain expertise in Authentication/Authorization, Single Sign On (SSO), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Directory Services, and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Proven ability to define IAM roadmaps and align technical strategies with business objectives.
- Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM
. - Hands‑on experience implementing Zero Trust architecture and Just‑In‑Time (JIT) access methodologies.
- Experience engaging with executive leadership to present technical strategies.
