The OpportunityAcuative is seeking an experienced Consulting Engineer to support a large enterprise customer in the semi-conductor tech segment as part of a long-term consulting engagement delivered in collaboration with Cisco’s Customer Experience (CX) organization.
This role is ideal for a customer-facing consultant who operates beyond implementation — providing trusted guidance, practical insight, and technical leadership to help customers maximize the value of their Cisco enterprise networking platforms.
Working as an extended part of Cisco’s CX delivery team you will be embedded with the customer and have all the support and access expected from working with the worldwide leader in networking, IT, and cybersecurity.
Your RoleAs a Consulting Engineer, you will:
- Serve as a trusted technical consultant for enterprise networking initiatives
- Work closely with customer engineering and operations teams
- Provide hands-on consulting across planning, optimization, and lifecycle activities
- Support pilots, phased deployments, and production environments
- Help customers strengthen operational practices and platform adoption
- Coordinate with Cisco CX and partner stakeholders to deliver outcomes
- The customer relies on you as a long-term technical advisor
- Cisco platforms are well understood, adopted, and effectively operated
- Technical risks are proactively managed
- Solutions align with business needs and operational realities
- Customer teams gain confidence and capability through knowledge transfer
- 7-12 years’ experience in enterprise networking consulting or professional services
- Cisco Catalyst switching experience Strong customer-facing background in complex environments
- Able to work independently while collaborating across organizations
- Leadership in escalations with Cisco TAC
- Clear communicator with strong consulting instincts
- Focused on outcomes, not just delivery
- Long-term engagement with a strategic enterprise customer
