More than a career, it’s a movement. Emancipet, the leading non-profit veterinary care provider in the United States, is on a mission to make veterinary care affordable and accessible for everyone. For the past 25 years, we’ve been building a national network of low-cost veterinary clinics that provide low-cost, high-quality, and compassionate care in underserved communities. Our clinics have the power to transform communities into places where no one has to forego veterinary care for their pets because the cost is out of reach.
You’re invited to join the movement!
We are dedicated to building and supporting a diverse workforce. Emancipet is committed to applying a social justice lens to our work by evaluating and ensuring that our systems, policies, practices, language, and programs create equitable access, opportunities, engagement, and inclusivity for all people, and people from historically marginalized groups in particular. We strive to live by our values and be an organization where the culture created by our diverse staff and board advances our mission and vision, and supports organizational excellence and sustainability.
The Department:
Who is Finance and Administration?
It’s not just what we do, but how we do it that makes the difference. Emancipet’s Finance and Administration Department is made up of three teams—Finance and Accounting;
Research, Data, and Analytics (RDA); and Information Technology (IT). Together, we ensure the organization has the financial strength, data-driven insights, and technological support needed to advance our mission.
We support Emancipet in achieving its three bottom lines—Quality Medicine, Transformative Service, and Financial Sustainability—by providing timely, approachable access to data and information. Some of us live and breathe data integrity, analysis, and reporting to support internal decision-making. Others focus on optimizing financial systems, ensuring compliance, and managing resources to sustain and grow our impact. All of us work together to build strong financial and operational foundations that enable accessible, affordable veterinary care for all.
The Information Systems Manager reports to the Chief Finance and Data Officer (CFDO) and serves as the "right hand" for all technological initiatives. In this role, you will hire, lead, and oversee a geographically distributed team of regional Technology Support Specialists.

Tell me more about the Information Systems Manager position
At Emancipet, we serve over 90,000 families a year across 10+ locations . Every few minutes a veterinary team spends fighting with slow equipment or broken integrations is one less patient we’re able to see that day. We believe technology should be an invisible engine—a powerful, silent force that drives our mission forward without getting in the way of creating transformative experiences for our clients and staff.
We are seeking an Information Systems Manager who recognizes that while software tools are temporary, the integrity of our data is the bedrock of our ability to deliver and grow our impact.
This is a role for a systems thinker who is comfortable oscillating from high-level strategy to the granularity of user permissions and technical troubleshooting. You will spend your time co-developing a multi-year roadmap that prioritizes long-term scalability while simultaneously building and working alongside a distributed team of specialists to support our clinic teams and the shared services staff that support them behind the scenes.
You aren’t just troubleshooting devices and implementing software; you are architecting a sustainable ecosystem where core platforms talk to one another seamlessly, ensuring our data remains actionable as we scale from Texas to Pennsylvania.
You will thrive here if you are a process-oriented builder who values structural integrity and finds as much purpose in resolving an urgent clinic hardware issue as you do in building "backbone" infrastructure. You are motivated by the knowledge that a stable, secure, and automated technical foundation is the critical next piece to help Emancipet expand access to veterinary care for…
