Senior SAP Application Developer

Our client, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior SAP Application Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior SAP Application Developer, you will be an integral part of the IT Innovation Center North supporting global SAP deployment initiatives.

Job Title: Senior SAP Application Developer

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite) or Warren, MI (Onsite) - HYBRID

• Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP solutions including enhancements, customizations, and integrations using SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori.
• Participate in the full lifecycle of SAP projects from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
• Collaborate closely with functional teams, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Adhere to clean core principles, utilize SAP Cloud Platform tools, and embrace a cloud-first mindset for application development.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.

• At least 5-7 years of experience in SAP development, with a focus on ABAP programming and SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO.
• Proficiency in SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, OData services, and SAP BTP tools/services like SAP Build Work Zone and GIT.
• Experience with SAP HANA, S/4
  
  HANA, and upgrades from ECC to S/4
  
  HANA, including code remediation.
• Strong understanding of SAP Cloud Platform, RISE, and integration technologies such as IDocs, RFC, BAPI, SOAP, REST.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to produce detailed technical documentation.
