Overview

As a member of the Ops Tech Solutions application development team for Service Now, you will be at the forefront of IT service delivery, collaborating across Ops Tech Solutions infrastructure and services teams. You will work across all internal teams to drive tooling and process improvements to ensure a high‑quality, fast‑resolution customer experience. Your mission is to develop a world‑class customer experience and set new customer service standards in IT Delivery.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Perform technical administration and maintenance of Service Now IT Business Management.
  • Work on identifying platform‑level optimization opportunities to improve overall user experience, such as page load latency reduction.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to build enhancements and integrations that scale.
  • Create Service Now workflows and business rules for service improvements.
  • Interface with Service Now for all operational requests, issues, and planning.
  • Lead Service Now release upgrades including technical and stakeholder management activities.
  • Work closely with Software Development Engineers to coordinate system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Provide user training related to Service Now processes, policies and procedures.
  • Mentor team members on project planning, design and estimating activities in Service Now IT Business Management.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
  • Certified Service Now Administrator (CSA) or another Service Now certification is required.
  • 3+ years of direct experience with the Service Now platform as an administrator, developer or a comparable role.
  • 5+ years of direct experience working with customers to understand requirements and implementing information technology solutions or initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on Service Now platform maintenance and optimization activities, such as release management and page load time latency improvement.
  • 6+ years’ experience in multiple areas of technology, including application administration, configuration, and/or data services.
  • 6+ years of experience with Agile Scrum/Kanban methodology.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Perl or PHP.
  • Experience with web service integrations using REST, SOAP or similar.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or related experience.
