Senior Business Analyst: IT Budget & Forecasting; On-Site Austin

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for an on-site contract in Austin, TX.

• Use multiple tools and data sources in the financial analysis and forecasting of the IT Project Portfolio.
• Review project demands and resource allocation plans for managed service providers as well as internal staff.
• Prepare funds transfers and monitor federal funding reimbursements for eligible IT purchases.
• Review IT purchase requests and monitor the daily activity related to operating and capital expenses.
• Participate in the monthly reconciliation of client’s IT budget, encumbrances, and expenses.

• 5+ Financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc.
• 5+ Budgeting methods and procedures
• 5+ Communicating and maintaining effective working relationships with others
• 5+ Preparing and maintaining confidential and sensitive records, files, and reports

• +5 years Microsoft Office productivity tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
• Experience with Power
  
  BI, Python, Tableau, Power Platform or other data analytics and data visualization tools.
• Experience with AI and Automation tools including Microsoft CoPilot, Google Gemini, Power Platform or similar solutions.
• Experience with IT resource and staff planning, including estimating workforce needs, aligning resources to projects and core IT functions.
