Senior Support Engineer (MSP) | Austin, TX | $65K–$85K + Strong Benefits + Growth Opportunity

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing Managed Services Provider that has built an award‑winning culture and strong reputation for delivering high‑touch IT services and infrastructure solutions. This organization has consistently been recognized as a top workplace and is now expanding its footprint into the Austin market.

They’re looking for a Senior Support Engineer to serve as a key technical resource supporting a growing client base across the Austin area. This is not a repetitive help desk role. This position is designed for someone who enjoys solving difficult technical issues, working directly with clients, taking ownership, and becoming a trusted technical resource.

You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy and act as a senior escalation point while supporting diverse environments across cloud, systems, networking, and infrastructure technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Handle escalated support issues involving Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra /Azure AD, Intune, and related technologies
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure problems involving networking, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and remote access technologies
  • Support and manage RMM platforms for monitoring, scripting, automation, and patch management
  • Travel to client sites throughout the Austin area for escalations, deployments, and hands‑on support as needed
  • Assist with endpoint management, patching, security hardening, backups, and system maintenance
  • Participate in server deployments, client onboarding initiatives, and infrastructure upgrades
  • Create and maintain documentation, KB articles, and troubleshooting processes
  • Mentor junior technicians and collaborate closely with project teams
What They’re Looking For:
  • 5–7+ years of IT support or systems administration experience
  • Experience working as a Tier 2+/Senior Support Engineer
  • Strong experience with:
    • Windows Server
    • Active Directory
    • Microsoft 365
    • Group Policy
    • Exchange Online
    • VMware or Hyper‑V
    • TCP/IP
    • VLANs
    • VPNs
    • Firewalls
    • Routing/Switching
    • Server administration
  • Certifications such as CCNA, AZ‑104, MS‑100, or CCNP
