Requirement:
Texas resident, local to Austin (within 50-mile radius). 14+ years total experience.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support and lead multiple initiatives and special projects assigned by agency leadership. This role involves:

• Facilitating analysis across related projects and developing business analysis tools.
• Defining project requirements and reporting progress to management.
• Providing strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborating with teams to initiate, support, and deliver diverse projects.
• Working with limited supervision and using strong independent judgment.
• Reviewing and evaluating business systems, reengineering processes, identifying technology-driven improvements, and preparing solution options, risk assessments, and financial analyses.
• Writing detailed documentation of user needs, functional requirements, and system modifications.

• 8+ years of experience researching, gathering, and analyzing system requirements; solving complex problems; preparing concise reports.
• 8+ years presenting gap analysis and operational effectiveness findings to executive stakeholders.
• 8+ years developing as-is / to-be process models, mapping workflows, and identifying process improvements.
• 8+ years analyzing program policies and procedures and determining impact on automated systems.
• 8+ years working with functional teams to identify unmet business and technology needs.

• 5+ years strong stakeholder relationship-building; excellent communication and presentation skills; requirements gathering.
• 5+ years experience with SDLC deliverables: gap analysis, recommendations, roadmaps, requirements, design documents, test cases, use cases.
• 1+ year UX design experience.

• UX design experience required.
• Previous Texas state client experience required.
• Must already reside in Texas; local to Austin (within 50-mile radius). Possibility to report to onsite location 2-3 times per week.
