Business Intelligence Engineer, Vulnerability Management and Remediation

Do you get excited about working with hyper‑scale data applications? Interested in security? Enjoy working with the latest AWS technologies? We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to pioneer data analysis, dashboarding, and storage solutions for a pipeline that handles petabytes of data, enabling Amazon defensive security and security management teams globally.

The Vulnerability Management and Remediation team builds mission‑critical data processing pipelines and applications. Your contributions will impact Amazon’s fulfillment centers, physical stores, Whole Foods, Fresh, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and ETL pipelines to support business intelligence initiatives with automated dashboard solutions.
  • Partner with technical, business, operations, and security teams to understand data requirements and design scalable, user‑friendly BI solutions.
  • Design and implement AI/LLM‑powered solutions to automate human‑in‑the‑loop tasks.
  • Develop statistical analyses to support business decision‑making using AI infrastructure and company‑wide solutions.
  • Manage and execute projects from start to finish, including problem solving, data gathering and manipulation, predictive modeling, and project management.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data using Redshift, Oracle, No

    SQL, etc.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Quicksight.
  • Experience building ETL pipelines and data modeling and warehousing.
  • Experience with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting (Python) for data processing and modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Dynamo

    DB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Experience in data mining and ETL with large‑scale, complex datasets in a business environment.

Base salary range: $99,500 – $160,000 USD annually.
