Paid Media Intern

COMPENSATION: $20 per hour
LOCATION:
Austin, TX / In-Office
SCHEDULE:
Up to 22 hours per week
SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paid Media Specialist Intern to join our team. This role will support the setup, onboarding, and management of paid media campaigns, primarily across Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram). The intern will work closely with our strategists to ensure campaigns are properly launched, optimized, and deliver measurable results for our clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in onboarding new paid media accounts, ensuring campaigns are set up accurately and on time.
- Support day-to-day management of paid campaigns, primarily on Google Ads and Meta. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Daily budget monitoring
- Ad copy updates
- Identify necessary changes
- Keyword research
- Monitor performance metrics and help prepare reports for the team and clients.
- Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in digital advertising.
- Performs other related digital media duties as assigned by management.
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager (prior coursework, certifications, or internship experience preferred but not required).
- Analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience managing real advertising budgets and campaigns.
- Training and mentorship from an experienced team in paid search, social, and programmatic advertising.
- Exposure to campaign strategy, optimization techniques, and performance reporting.
- Experience working with industry tools (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, GA4, Optmyzer, etc.).
- A portfolio of tangible work that demonstrates your impact in digital marketing.
