Project Manager, IT Project Manager, Data Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Lead 3 to support a high-impact data engineering and AI adoption initiative in Austin, Texas. The role involves project planning, requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, business analysis, project tracking, and implementation support for complex technical solutions. Candidates should have strong experience managing cross-functional teams and aligning business, engineering, and AI stakeholders while supporting cloud, data pipeline, and AI/ML initiatives.

PMP certification is required, along with excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Experience leading technical projects or programs in data, analytics, and cloud environments.
• Experience leading data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing initiatives from planning through delivery.
• Proven ability to manage business intelligence, big data, and analytics projects in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting healthcare data initiatives; familiarity with standards such as FHIR, CCDA, and HL7 is a plus.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database technologies to support project planning, estimation, and issue resolution.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business and executive audiences.
• Proven leadership skills managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and complex project timelines.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with data engineers, developers, analysts, and business partners.
• Experience defining project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and success metrics.
• Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and financial status reporting.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
• Strong documentation skills for project plans, charters, schedules, and lessons learned.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, data systems, or enterprise applications.
• Proactive leadership style with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with healthcare or other regulated environments, including compliance, security, and data governance concepts.
• Fundamental understanding of information management principles, IT processes, SDLC, architecture, and enterprise technologies.
• Strong consulting and facilitation skills with a customer-focused communication style and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience supporting AI, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives at the program or project level.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or similar project management certification.
• Healthcare industry experience.
• TOGAF, Cloud Solution Architecture, or Azure/AWS/GCP certifications.
