Senior ERP Developer - People Soft FSCM
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid - 1 day onsite, 4 days remote)
Type: Contract
People Soft FSCM 9.2 (Accounts Receivable & Billing), People Tools (People Code, App Engine, SQR, COBOL), Integration Broker (REST/SOAP/JSON/XML), Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Linux scripting, AWE, SDLC, and experience in public sector financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, modify, develop, test, and debug ERP applications.
- Execute ETL processes to support data migration from legacy systems to People Soft.
- Build and maintain integrations between People Soft and external third-party systems.
- Support application integration into the broader ERP ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain clear technical documentation.
- Collaborate with large, distributed remote teams and contribute throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Provide support during non-business hours as needed during critical project phases.
Candidates must have 8+ years of hands-on experience in the following:
- People Soft FSCM 9.2 - specifically Accounts Receivable and Billing
- People Tools (People Code, Application Packages, Application Engine, COBOL, SQR)
- Integration Broker (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
- Advanced SQL/PLSQL in an Oracle environment
- Linux OS scripting
- Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
- Interpreting business requirements and developing technical design documentation
- Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio)
- Collaboration in large, remote development teams using Microsoft Teams
- 4+ years supporting public sector clients (Federal, State, or Local Government)
- 2+ years with the Texas CPA CAPPS Financials system and/or Treasury Offset Program (TOP)
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Share Point
- 1+ year using Jira for task tracking
- 1+ year working in Agile/Scrum environments
- 1+ year working with STAT for People Soft change management
