We are seeking a Senior Tableau consultant for a contract position worked remotely within the state of Texas.
** You must currently reside in Texas to be considered**.
This senior-level role involves advanced architectural work with a strong focus on ETL design, data modeling, and delivering data-driven insights through Tableau. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can independently lead complex technical solutions and bridge the gap between business objectives and technology execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust ETL processes and data handling frameworks to support large-scale data visualizations.
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed system, application, and process designs.
- Develop, test, and implement Tableau dashboards and visualizations that deliver actionable insights to end-users.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Tableau and enterprise data architecture, providing guidance and best practices to internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze service requirements and design tailored service solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, tools, and technologies to craft innovative and efficient architectural solutions.
- Lead project management efforts, including gathering requirements, managing stakeholders, and executing project plans.
- 8+ years of experience in Tableau dashboard development and advanced visualizations.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, including stakeholder engagement and project execution.
- 8+ years of experience managing enterprise architecture with a strong focus on data solutions and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with public sector data initiatives or regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of data governance and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with additional BI tools or programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
