We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and energetic Principal Data Architect to shape and lead our technical strategy, a role critical to driving the next phase of growth and innovation within our Data community. If you're a hands‑on technical leader with deep experience in building modern real‑time data platforms, we want to hear from you!
You’ll serve as a technical leader across multiple squads, driving a roadmap that aligns our Data strategy with business needs. You’ll ensure teams consistently work towards their OKRs, focusing on scaling our technology to meet evolving demands.
Initially, you’ll focus on maturing our data pipeline’s paved path, ensuring we have best‑in‑class tooling that exceeds the expectations of both technical and business partners. As your impact grows, you’ll take on more forward‑thinking responsibilities, such as designing advanced data architectures, collaborating with stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of the organization’s data needs, and ensuring a scalable, future‑ready data infrastructure.

- Cloud Data Platforms: Deep experience with AWS and core services such as S3, Lambda, Glue/Apache Kafka, and Redshift or Snowflake. Proficient in modern data integration and ETL technologies.
- Data Architecture & Modeling: Expertise in data modeling, database design, and performance tuning. Strong track record implementing medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for data lakes and data warehouses.
- Data Governance & Standards: Skilled in establishing and enforcing data governance frameworks, including reference data management. Familiarity with TOGAF or similar architectural principles to support scalable, compliant systems.
- Security & Compliance: Knowledge of data security best practices and experience ensuring compliance.
- Metadata Management: Hands‑on experience with data catalog and metadata tools such as Collibra, Atlan, or equivalent platforms.
- Cloud Cost Optimization: Proven ability to identify and implement cost‑saving strategies across cloud data environments, including resource right‑sizing, storage tier optimization, and efficient data processing.
- 12+ years experience or related work experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, Master’s degree preferred
