Position: Technical Account Manager (TAM)

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) works closely with Spy Cloud’s customers, leveraging exceptional customer‑facing skills and technical acumen to guide them through the successful adoption of our products. As a trusted consultant and advisor, the TAM unlocks value, delivers solutions, and ensures data‑driven success for all stakeholders.

What You’ll Do
  • Project‑manage enterprise onboarding and integration, ensuring timely and successful launches.
  • Monitor products, programs, and projects from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customers on technical matters.
  • Partner with Customer Success Management and internal teams to identify opportunities and translate customer goals into executable technical setups with adoption plans.
  • Own the process of understanding customer challenges, communicating issues, goals, requirements, and solutions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Spy Cloud’s products and provide technical guidance, managing timelines, milestones, migration goals, and business transformation strategies.
  • Develop best‑practice assets based on customer engagement learnings to support scaling initiatives.
  • Act as a customer advocate, representing customers internally and driving process and collateral improvements to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
  • Strong technical acumen and experience influencing change at all levels.
  • Solid working knowledge of various web technologies with an understanding of APIs and databases.
  • Good knowledge of REST technology, previous work with APIs, and ability to understand and troubleshoot cloud solutions.
  • Track record of creating documentation of processes, playbooks, and other information for use by TAMs.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams of both technical and non‑technical individuals across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience translating business goals into technical solutions.
  • Understanding of data analytics to identify key performance indicators and perform data analysis to drive insights.
  • Ability to seamlessly work with the customer’s development team.
  • Practical experience with a solid background in problem analysis and resolution of SaaS enterprise platforms.
Nice to Have
  • 3–5+ years of Technical Account Management or Sales Engineering experience in a customer‑facing role.
  • Familiarity with SaaS solutions.
  • Hands‑on experience with programming/scripting languages and their usage with APIs.
  • Cybersecurity and ATO prevention experience a plus.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Entra , Splunk, XSOAR, Sentinel, or SOAR/SIEM.
