Analyst, MES

Job Summary

The ME Analyst, IT Operations will support our extraordinary team by analyzing complex business problems, developing automated systems, and providing technical expertise in creating cost‑effective, efficient solutions. The role reports to the Information Technology Manager and is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures to support automated operations.

Shift: 2nd shift, 3pm – 11:15pm, Monday‑Friday,

Austin, TX.

• Determine required improvements on the systems, supervising implementation to meet customer requirements
• Assist team on the determination of methods and procedures for new assignments
• Write functional and technical specifications for developers
• Engage in complex issue analysis where data evaluation requires in‑depth assessment of variable factors
• Verify newly developed processes
• Analyze, evaluate, test, and debug shop floor application programs supporting various manufacturing areas
• Provide day‑to‑day end‑user service and technical support
• Perform software configuration and setup for new customers in MES tracking system
• Assist in determining suitable software to meet business requirements
• Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems related to shop floor computers
• Write medical documentation compliant with FDA regulations for medical customers

• Minimum 7 years of industry experience working with SQL/MES Application (Flex Flow)
• Create SSRS Reports
• Create Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, and indexing for Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) using SQL, T‑SQL, and SQL‑Profiler; client/server application interfaces, distributed systems interfaces, and peripheral devices

• Basic Python programming
• OPC servers and PLC integration for data capture and configuration
• .NET Programming API programming
