We are seeking a passionate IT Knowledge and Integration Specialist to support the Army Software Factory (ASWF) in aligning with DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce requirements and broader compliance mandates. The Army Software Factory (ASWF), a first-of-its-kind initiative under Army Futures Command, is revolutionizing the Army's approach to software development by training and employing self-sustaining technical talent from across the military and civilian workforce.

Guided by the motto "By Soldiers, For Soldiers," ASWF equips service members to develop mission-critical software solutions independently-especially vital for future contested environments where traditional technical support may be unavailable. This initiative also serves as a strategic prototype to modernize legacy IT processes and build technical readiness across the force to ensure battlefield dominance in the digital age.

What You'll Do:
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (Required)
  • 12+ years of experience in IT support roles.
  • Demonstrated experience centralizing and standardizing organizational knowledge across platforms including Google Workspace, Git Lab, Microsoft 365, and internal intranet systems.
  • Strong knowledge of scalable knowledge management frameworks, including documentation architecture, taxonomy development, governance models, and information lifecycle management.
  • Experience identifying and implementing automation opportunities for knowledge capture, updates, and distribution using tools such as Google Apps Script, Git Lab CI/CD pipelines, and Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Proven ability to consolidate and optimize enterprise knowledge bases, reduce duplication, and improve searchability and discoverability.
  • Strong scripting, process improvement, and systems integration capabilities focused on reducing manual operational overhead and increasing organizational efficiency.
  • Expertise in information architecture design and user experience optimization for internal knowledge-sharing platforms.
  • Experience implementing lifecycle management processes including content audits, version control, archival strategies, and governance procedures.
  • Experience implementing role-based access controls and content segmentation strategies across platforms such as Google Drive, SharePoint, Git Lab Wiki, and internal intranet environments.
  • Strong communication and training skills with the ability to drive adoption of knowledge management best practices through enablement sessions and internal outreach.
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of integrating ITSM processes with documentation workflows, including automated generation and maintenance of knowledge base articles from incidents, tickets, or operational events.
  • Experience maintaining SOPs, operational runbooks, and service documentation aligned with evolving IT systems and infrastructure changes.
  • Understanding of access control, compliance, cybersecurity, and OPSEC requirements related to enterprise knowledge management systems.
