Neos is currently seeking an OSISoft PI Administrator for a 12-month contract for our client in Austin, Texas.
Roles And Responsibilities:
- 5+ years of experience providing PI AF modeling support for the control system PI Server Asset Framework.
- 5+ years of experience providing remote support to business users of OSI Soft Pi applications, including Pi SDK, Webparts, AF, and IT Monitoring.
- 5+ years of experience administering and supporting the OSI Soft Pi system.
- 5+ years of experience with Windows server administration.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform necessary technical corrective actions to restore failed or failing technical services related to the PI Systems.
- Support, maintain and optimize PI-System servers, interfaces, and user tools.
- Create, monitor, and maintain PI-System tags.
- Monitor and maintain PI-System security and deploy patches.
- Optimize PI-System performance and monitor system health (CPU, RAM, HD space).
- Document procedures and best practices.
- Experience working with power utility data preferred.
- Experience supporting and maintaining hardware preferred.
