Informatica Developer; PowerCenter​/IICS

The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking an experienced Informatica Developer to support the development, enhancement, and optimization of the Performance Management & Analytics System (PMAS) Data Integration Hub. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Informatica Power Center, Informatica IICS, ETL development, Snowflake SQL, enterprise data integration, and healthcare-related data environments. This role requires designing, developing, automating, and maintaining enterprise ETL solutions in an Agile environment while collaborating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure data integration solutions supporting analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and enterprise integration solutions using Informatica Power Center and Informatica IICS
• Integrate enterprise data from Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, Adobe PDF, and additional structured and unstructured sources
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex Snowflake SQL scripts supporting analytics and reporting requirements
• Create Oracle views and materialized views supporting dimensional data models and business intelligence environments
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews, and daily standup meetings
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and data engineering teams to deliver enterprise data integration solutions
• Build automated verification, testing, and validation processes supporting data quality initiatives
• Develop technical documentation, workflow diagrams, mappings, specifications, and integration designs
• Support deployment, testing, enhancement, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ETL solutions
• Analyze business requirements and recommend scalable, efficient technical solutions aligned with enterprise objectives

• Support CI/CD implementation and deployment automation using Git Hub and Git Hub Actions
• Develop integrations using REST and SOAP web services
• Utilize AI-powered tools such as Snowflake Cortex and Informatica Claire for modernization and automation initiatives
• Support Mule Soft integration and interoperability efforts
• Ensure compliance with healthcare-related data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with performance tuning, issue resolution, and process optimization across enterprise environments

• Strong Informatica Power Center and Informatica IICS development experience
• Strong ETL development and enterprise data integration expertise
• Snowflake SQL development and query optimization experience
• Oracle and SQL Server database integration experience
• Data warehousing and dimensional data modeling expertise
• Tableau data integration and analytics support experience
• Python scripting and automation experience

• Visio and Erwin data modeling experience

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in fast-paced enterprise environments
• Experience supporting enterprise data warehouse environments preferred
• Experience with healthcare data governance, privacy, and compliance preferred

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent professional experience

• Informatica certifications preferred
