Job Description

We are seeking a Network/Telecommunications Engineer for a long-term contract in Austin, TX. Level 1 Network / Telecommunications Engineers. Onsite 4‑5 days a week is required.

Role

Description:

Provides frontline operational support for Client network and telecommunications services.

• Monitor environments using client-approved tools
• Acknowledge alerts and create ITSM tickets
• Perform initial troubleshooting using SOPs
• Escalate incidents as required
• Maintain accurate ticket documentation
• Support major incident communications
• Contribute to reporting and knowledge updates

• Experience in network and/or telecommunications operations
• Familiarity with Cisco routing, switching, wireless, and collaboration platforms
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk or Solar Winds
• Strong documentation and communication skills
