Job Description
Provide IT support and services to small businesses and non‑profit organizations in the Austin metro area.
- Respond to end‑user support calls including virus cleanup, data recovery, and migration to the Cloud.
- Perform network cabling projects and help set up network drops for new office locations.
- Work with vendor technical support to resolve client issues.
- Assist clients with managed IT solutions, onsite support, business continuity plans, managed cybersecurity, firewalls, and networks.
- Help deploy and maintain Windows servers and troubleshoot permissions.
- Manage Microsoft 365 environments and support end users.
- Support Windows OS in a networked environment and fight malware and viruses.
- Prioritize service calls, schedule daily activities, and communicate progress to customers.
- Adapt to a variety of clients and seek help when necessary.
- Lift up to 50 lbs, crawl under desks, and run cable in commercial buildings.
- Three years or more providing end‑user support in a networked environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to research/document solutions.
- Working knowledge of networking, data cabling, routing, switching and network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows Server versions and ability to deploy, troubleshoot and maintain.
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 environments.
- Expert knowledge supporting Windows OS in a networked environment.
- Knowledge of Linux (a plus).
- Strong Mac OS working knowledge. Able to provision new systems and assist remotely.
- Expert knowledge fighting malware and viruses.
- Prioritizes service calls, applies good judgment when scheduling daily activities, and responds to requests in person, by phone or electronically.
- Adaptable to a wide variety of clients and reaches for help when needed.
- Hungry to learn and be challenged.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills; logs all help‑desk interactions.
- Great listening skills and ability to execute service ticket and workflow processes.
- Has reliable transportation and can lift 50 lbs; car/gas allowance provided.
- Consistent and punctual.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.

Compensation range is $18 to $22 per hour based on experience and skill set. Profit sharing, gas allowance and a flexible schedule are part of the compensation package. Part‑time positions can grow into full‑time opportunities.
