Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Medicaid Claims Processing Analyst to support a large healthcare/government client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Medicaid claims processing, business analysis, system evaluation, requirements gathering, and Agile delivery environments.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to analyze current systems, identify process improvements, and support modernization initiatives related to Medicaid claims operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, operational procedures, and existing systems to identify improvement opportunities

• Gather, document, and validate user requirements and business processes

• Create detailed functional documentation, process flows, and system specifications

• Support automation and optimization of claims processing workflows

• Perform cost/benefit analysis and evaluate alternative system solutions

• Analyze input/output requirements, reporting formats, and data processing workflows

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Medicaid Claims Processing

• Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements

• Experience analyzing and improving operational procedures and workflows

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Experience with Azure Dev Ops and wireframe creation

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Understanding of IT architecture concepts, system integration, and enterprise applications

• Experience documenting input/output requirements and reporting structures

• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Skills:

• Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework

• Familiarity with enterprise information architecture and information management methodologies

• Knowledge of software architecture and infrastructure components in large enterprise environments

Preferred Background:

• Healthcare or Medicaid domain experience strongly preferred

• Experience working on state or government healthcare projects is a plus
