Jeppesen Fore Flight builds industry-leading aviation software used by pilots, aircraft operators, and major airlines worldwide. As a high-growth, private equity-backed company, we are focused on scaling our operations, strengthening our financial infrastructure, and driving operational excellence across the business. Our team combines deep domain expertise with a collaborative, high-performance culture to solve complex challenges and support continued growth.
Jeppesen Fore Flight is seeking a Senior Product Designer II to join our global design team and lead design for our next-generation agentic AI platform — as well as adjacent operational products that support pilots, dispatchers, and aviation operations teams worldwide.
This role sits at the forefront of AI-powered product design, focused on shaping intelligent workflows, agentic interfaces, and human-AI collaboration models in high-stakes operational environments. You will help define how AI agents surface context, orchestrate tasks across systems, and empower users to make faster, more informed decisions.
You are a strategic, systems-minded product designer who can independently lead complex initiatives from discovery through delivery. You thrive in ambiguity, simplify complexity, and bring a strong point of view on designing AI-native experiences. You understand that AI product design is not just about interfaces — it’s about trust, transparency, orchestration, and creating intuitive interactions between humans and intelligent systems.
As a senior design leader, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership while collaborating closely with distributed product, engineering, and design teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end design for our agentic AI platform, and adjacent operational products, from early concepting through launch and iteration

- Create high-quality design artifacts including workflows, wireframes, interaction models, prototypes, and system maps
- Shape interaction patterns for agentic systems, including task delegation, contextual surfacing, explainability, and confidence signaling
- Leverage research, operational data, and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate iteration and improve design quality
- Plan and conduct user research, usability testing, and workflow validation with pilots, dispatchers, and operational stakeholders
- Partner with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and thoughtful AI behavior in production
- Contribute to and evolve our design systems and shared interaction patterns for AI-enabled products
- Mentor other designers and contribute to raising the bar for craft, systems thinking, and AI product design maturity across the team

- Strong fluency in English, both written and verbal
- A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, systems thinking, and measurable business impact
- Experience designing AI-powered products, agentic systems, copilots, assistants, or intelligent workflow tools
- Strong understanding of human-AI interaction principles and emerging paradigms, including transparency, trust, feedback loops, and user control
- Experience designing complex workflow software in operational, enterprise, or regulated domains (aviation, healthcare, finance, logistics, etc.)
- Strong interaction design skills for data-rich and context-heavy environments
- Ability to operate independently and bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces
- Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to influence senior partners across product and engineering
- Proficiency with modern design tools such as…
