Job Description:

The client is seeking a seasoned Process Engineering professional to lead business process evaluation and optimization initiatives in support of operational excellence and digital transformation efforts. This role will focus on analyzing current-state workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and delivering data-driven, actionable solutions that enhance functionality, throughput, and end-user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct end-to-end assessments of business processes across designated departments.
  • Engage stakeholders to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Document and analyze “As-Is” workflows using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Design optimized “To-Be” processes and transition plans.
  • Translate improved processes into functional and non-functional requirements for modular or low-code technology solutions.
  • Partner with product, IT, and operations teams to ensure alignment between process improvements and system capabilities.
  • Develop implementation roadmaps, change management strategies, and performance metrics to measure ROI.
  • Facilitate process mapping workshops, working sessions, and training as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in process engineering, operations optimization, or business process improvement.
  • 5+ years evaluating and optimizing current-state processes.
  • Experience specifying software system requirements to support improved solutions.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale process transformation initiatives.
  • Proficiency with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio).
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with operational metrics, workflow optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in regulated or government environments.
  • Familiarity with process automation or low-code platforms.
