Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Position Overview

As a member of the Infrastructure Platform Team, you will be a hands‑on engineer for the core services used by every employee at Dimensional to communicate, coordinate, plan, and automate securely and reliably.

• Analyze, architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and high‑performing Windows, Citrix, AWS, and Azure environments.
• Take a software‑engineering approach to all implementations, emphasizing automation, zero‑configuration, and zero‑trust.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Network, Application Development, Service Desk, and other cross‑functional technology groups.
• Handoff operational tasks involving Windows, Citrix, and Cloud Services to Dimensional’s Infrastructure Operations team.
• Support, engineer, and administer large‑scale on‑premise and multi‑cloud (hybrid) infrastructure, including identity and access management (IAM) systems.
• Develop and streamline processes using Power Shell, Bash, and/or Python to support automation for Windows, Azure technologies, and Security/Compliance tools.
• Align security, privacy, and operational requirements with practical, implementable engineering controls.
• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to drive security initiatives, including threat management and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Ensure appropriate system monitoring, alerting, and global reporting for uptime, performance, capacity, and utilization.
• Advocate, exemplify, and mentor the adoption of Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) approaches and tools.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years Microsoft Windows experience covering requirements development, systems design, integration, and product verification.
• 5+ years’ experience adopting Azure/AWS cloud methodologies, including enterprise‑scale identity management, hybrid environments, and automation solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop 7.x/DAAS/Gateway/Net Scaler.
• Proficiency with Dev Ops principles and tools such as Python, Power Shell, Azure CLI, Terraform, and ARM templates.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, networking, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
• Experience with Entra (Azure AD), Azure/AWS networking, Azure/AWS Cloud Security, and other Azure/AWS services.
• Experience in planning, design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of DLP and other security capabilities.
• Experience designing resilient and reliable solutions in complex hybrid environments.
• Customer‑facing experience with the ability to clearly present ideas to audiences of varying size, seniority, and technical knowledge.
