- CompTIA Security+
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information systems
- Experience supporting classified and unclassified systems under RMF
- Strong working knowledge of NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171 Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting CUI compliance and CMMC assessments
- Familiarity with eMASS, SSPs, POA&Ms, and audit artifacts

Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire an Information Systems Security Lead (ISSL) to support a federal defense program. This role will serve as the senior cybersecurity authority for the program and function as the designated ISSM. Day-to-day work includes leading cybersecurity execution across a small technical team, assigning and prioritizing RMF, CUI, and compliance-related tasks, and reviewing security documentation such as SSPs, POA&Ms, and incident reports.

The ISSL will provide technical direction to ISSO resources, approve security-relevant configuration changes, oversee secure system administration activities, and act as the escalation point for vulnerabilities and incidents. This role will also coordinate with security leadership and external stakeholders, run regular cybersecurity sync meetings, and support readiness for audits and assessments. The compensation range for this role is $110,000–$145,000 per year.
