ServiceNow Security & Risk Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Austin, TX that is seeking a Service Now Security & Risk Business Analyst.

Position Summary:

Service Now Business Process Consultant focused on Security & Risk (Sec Ops / GRC) to define and optimize security operations, risk, and compliance workflows. This role translates business needs into standardized, automation-ready processes that improve security posture and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead process discovery and requirements gathering for Sec Ops/GRC initiatives

* Design end-to-end security workflows (incident response, vulnerability management, risk & compliance)

* Define risk, control, and audit processes aligned to business and regulatory needs

* Identify opportunities for automation, controls, and process optimization

* Translate requirements into user stories, process maps, and functional specs

* Partner with architects/dev teams to ensure solution alignment and delivery

* Support UAT, backlog grooming, and stakeholder communication

* Establish standard security and risk frameworks and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

* 5-8+ years of experience in business process consulting/BA roles

* Experience with security operations, risk, or compliance processes

* Strong skills in process mapping, requirements gathering, and workflow design

* Experience working across business and technical teams

Preferred:

* Experience with Service Now Sec Ops/GRC or security platforms

* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOC, etc.)

* Exposure to security automation or risk transformation initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
