Job Description
We are seeking a M365 Systems Analyst role in Austin, TX, for a long‑term contract. Candidates must reside in the Austin area and work onsite five days a week.
Responsibilities- Provide issue resolution and support for all Microsoft 365 services.
- Troubleshoot system issues and utilize Office 365 tools.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues unresolved by the Service Desk.
- Analyze usage, performance, and audit reports to identify trends and potential problems.
- Act as a liaison between end users and higher‑tier support teams, ensuring clear communication and prompt issue resolution.
- Maintain familiarity with Active Directory, Entra , and Power Shell.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 security policies and compliance requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation related to Microsoft 365 services, policies, procedures, and system configurations.
- Participate in planning and implementation of IT projects related to Microsoft 365 services.
- Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and implement solutions that improve productivity.
- Administer Microsoft 365 service offerings, ensuring email, collaboration tools, and productivity software function effectively.
- Implement automation solutions using scripting languages such as Power Shell to streamline repetitive tasks while maintaining comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments within a large organization.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools including Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, and One Drive.
- Experience implementing governance and compliance policies in a public‑sector or regulated environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and Viva.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in creating technical documentation and delivering user training.
- Experience with SAM tools such as Snow, Flexera, or Service Now.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure licensing models.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and audit processes.
