Position Description :

• The candidate must have experience in state government accounting, dual systems reconciliation, and be able to perform standard business analyst duties. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, facilitating meetings with subject matter experts (SMEs), documenting complex system requirements and processes, developing test scenarios and scripts, preparing training materials, conducting hands-on testing, and supporting multiple test cycles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required for all project communications and deliverables.
• This position may require work outside standard business hours, depending on project needs.

• Hands-on experience with People Soft FSCM on implementation or upgrade projects as a General Ledger and Commitment Accounting business analyst
• Hands-on experience with state government accounting practice
• Hands-on experience creating all forms of project deliverables as a business analyst
• Hands-on experience conducting end-to-end system testing
• Hands-on experience presenting information to business stakeholders in a formal setting
• (at least
  4) Experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Hands-on experience working with the Texas state agencies' People Soft FSCM (CAPPS Financials) system
• Hands-on experience working in the Scrum framework and Jira
• Hands-on experience working with SharePoint lists
• Hands-on experience working with various Microsoft Teams features
• Experience with Phire
