Audio Visual / Video Teleconferencing (AV/VTC) Project Manager – Comp Qsoft

Comp Qsoft is seeking an experienced AV/VTC Project Manager to support an audio visual and video teleconferencing installation project at the Austin Information Technology Center (AITC), a GSA‑managed federal facility in Austin, TX.

Manage all aspects of AV/VTC system installation, integration, and warranty compliance in an occupied and functioning federal office environment.

• Manage end-to-end AV/VTC installation project including planning, scheduling, and execution
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, subcontractors, and technical teams
• Ensure work is performed with minimal disruption in an occupied federal facility
• Develop and maintain project schedule with milestones and deliverables
• Oversee installation of audio/visual equipment including conferencing systems
• Manage 4‑year warranty requirements and maintenance activities
• Provide regular status updates and reports to government client
• Ensure compliance with GSA standards and Statement of Work requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager on AV/VTC or similar IT integration projects
• Demonstrated experience managing AV equipment installation in occupied office buildings
• Experience with maintenance and warranty management on federal projects
• Active professional registration/certification (required)
• Strong knowledge of AV/VTC systems — Crestron, Extron, AMX, Polycom, Cisco preferred
• Experience working with GSA or federal government clients
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) — AVIXA certified
• CTS‑I (Installation) or CTS‑D (Design)
• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• Prior experience at a federal data center or IT facility
• Familiarity with GSA procurement and contract compliance requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
