Lead Product Designer; Agentic Commerce

We’re hiring a Lead Product Designer to help define the future of Agentic commerce. You will move grocery shopping beyond the static grid and search bar, inventing the interfaces and experiences for AI agents that shop, plan, and cook for millions of households.

This is a high-ownership role for a designer who operates like a founder. You’ll conduct customer research, analyze behavioral data, use AI to rapidly build prototypes, validate ideas, and work directly with the founders to shape the future of the product.

We are an AI‑leveraged organization. You must be a power user of generative design and coding tools, using them to move from idea to high-fidelity prototype at 10x speed. We value designers who can build what they design.

• Redefine How People Shop: Explore, design, and validate new interaction models for AI-powered shopping and agentic commerce, creating intuitive experiences that help shoppers accomplish complex goals through AI-powered assistance.
• Customer Obsession: Conduct customer interviews, usability studies, behavioral analysis, and product analytics to deeply understand customer needs, identify opportunities, develop hypotheses, validate ideas through experimentation, and help shape product priorities and roadmap decisions.
• Prototype with AI: Move beyond static mocks. Use AI tools (v0, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to build functional, interactive prototypes that allow us to "feel" the experience before engineering builds it.
• Aesthetic Excellence: Maintain an exceptional bar for visual design. Create interfaces that are beautiful, trustworthy, and high‑performing in a complex e‑commerce environment.
• System Thinking: Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across our consumer app and white‑label enterprise solutions.
• Collaborate & Ship: Work tightly with founders and engineering to communicate ideas through compelling prototypes, storytelling, and presentations to ensure designs are implemented with pixel‑perfect precision.

• Portfolio of Impact: You have designed and shipped consumer products that balance high-end aesthetics with complex utility that demonstrate meaningful business, customer, or product outcomes, not just beautiful screens.
• Research Driven: Experience planning and executing user research, from generative interviews to usability testing, and synthesizing findings into actionable product strategy.
• AI Native: You are a heavy user of cutting‑edge AI tools (Midjourney, v0, Lovable, LLMs) and use them to accelerate your research, ideation, and production workflows.
• Prototyping Wizardry: You don’t stop  can build interactive prototypes that mimic the final product feel, using code or advanced prototyping tools.
• Business Mindset: You understand that design is a business lever. You design for conversion, retention, trust, and measurable customer outcomes, recognizing the impact product decisions can have on billions of dollars in commerce.
