Position
Healthcare Business Data Analyst
Job Location & Work ArrangementAustin, TX – Hybrid: onsite Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; remote Wednesday and Friday. Candidates must be local to the Austin area and currently reside in Texas.
Experience13+ years total experience in the IT industry.
Required Qualifications- Hands‑on experience as a Business/Data Analyst in the IT industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to document business processes
- Ability to work with technical and non‑technical teams on complex, data‑driven problems
- Experience designing and optimizing data workflows and data management processes
- Strong experience writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Experience creating data dictionaries, BRDs, and data mapping specifications
- Ability to design and present visual data models and dashboards
- Proven ability to lead data‑focused meetings, interviews, and resolve data issues
- Healthcare client experience
- Experience with SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF eligibility rules
- Experience interpreting policy in integrated eligibility systems
- State and federal healthcare client experience profiles highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, IT, CS, or a related field
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of SNAP, Medicaid, and TANF eligibility rules
- Experience interpreting policy in integrated eligibility systems
- Experience leading JAD sessions
