AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. In the role, you’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) to join our Material Optimization team. The Sr. TPM will act as the business leader to identify improvements for AIS Supply Chain systems, perform A/B Analysis to Best In Class Systems, identify system requirements, align success metrics, drive change management, and partner with Software Development teams. You will drive delivery of large‑scale system improvements and lead end‑to‑end technical program management to transform our supply chain systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead technical program management for server and networking hardware systems working closely with software development teams and business stakeholders.
- Drive end‑to‑end project execution including scoping innovative solutions, solution design, testing, and implementation, and post‑launch improvements.
- Manage change across multiple stakeholder groups including material business owners and dozens of system users.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, identify dependencies, manage risks, and drive resolution of complex issues.
- Partner with software development teams and partners to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions to ensure successful launches.
- Lead executive communications and status reporting to senior leadership.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 4+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
- 5+ years of experience driving a supply chain system transformation for a large manufacturing supply chain.
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical‑path management experience.
- Experience managing projects across cross‑functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience defining KPIs/SLA’s used to drive multi‑million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
- 10+ years owning and driving a large‑scale supply chain transformation.
