Job Summary
Senior Application Analyst in the University Development Office.
Location & Working ConditionsUT MAIN CAMPUS, Austin, Texas. 40 hours per week. Standard office environment. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on‑site.
Responsibilities- Manage small to medium‑scale projects, assuming full technical responsibility and leadership.
- Analyze user requirements, user stories, and system architecture documents; perform complex systems analysis and configuration tasks.
- Assist with technical design and data modeling; document user stories and communicate with subject‑matter experts.
- Perform routine Salesforce administrative functions such as modifying page layouts, generating reports, and creating new objects and fields.
- Collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator and Architect to manage the security model, including permission sets and sharing rules.
- Design and develop business process automations, flows, approval processes, and notifications.
- Participate in design and testing for business unit acceptance and deployment.
- Document business processes, workflows, configurations, and procedures for users and technical audiences.
- Maintain data quality through validation and data analysis.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field.
- Three or more years as a Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst.
- Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst certification.
- Collaboration skills across levels of a complex organization.
- Ability to manage expectations and prioritize work.
- Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies.
- Skill in triaging, synthesizing, and clarifying requirements for technical staff.
- Organizational skills for complex tasks.
- Effective communication of complex technical solutions to non‑technical team members.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Self‑directed and problem‑solving.
- Five or more years of Salesforce administration or business analysis experience.
- Knowledge of core Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and one or more additional products.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third‑party solutions or App Exchange apps.
- Familiarity with fundraising and development terminology and processes.
