Job Title:
People Soft HCM Systems Analyst
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Employment Type: Contract
Position Summary
Systems Analyst 3 provides senior-level functional and technical support for People Soft HCM Talent Management modules including TAM/CG, OnBoarding, and Performance Management. This role supports system configuration, security, integrations, workflow management, reporting, testing, user support, and application enhancements while ensuring compliance, system performance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Provide senior-level functional and technical support for People Soft HCM Talent Management applications
• Configure and support TAM/CG, OnBoarding, and Performance Management modules
• Manage recruiting workflows, onboarding processes, and performance evaluation configurations
• Configure and maintain security roles, permissions, and access controls
• Support Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) setup, routing, notifications, and maintenance
• Maintain Candidate Gateway user experience, accessibility, usability, and mobile responsiveness
• Support end users and resolve application, workflow, and configuration issues
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics for recruiting, onboarding, and performance activities
• Support integrations across HR, Recruiting, Performance Management, and external systems
• Perform requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
• Support Application Designer, Integration Broker, SQR, BI Publisher, SQL, and People Soft security activities
• Support environment management including PUM, Fluid UI, Elasticsearch, data migration, and Change Assistant
• Create and review Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and support application enhancements
• Provide Level 2 Service Desk support including incident management and issue resolution
• Coordinate project activities, upgrades, and production support processes
• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 accessibility, security standards, and ITIL practices
• Participate in audit activities, disaster recovery, upgrade testing, and Major Incident Management (P1/P2)
• Deliver training, cross-training, presentations, and ongoing support to users and stakeholders
• Perform additional related duties as assigned
Required Experience:
• 10 years of experience preparing and presenting executive-level presentations
• 10 years of experience gathering and presenting data for audits and open records requests
• 10 years of experience interpreting contractual language and managing vendor accountability
• 8 years of experience supporting Talent Management modules including TAM/CG, OnBoarding, and/or Performance Management
• 8 years of experience preparing WCAG 2.1-compliant materials
• 8 years of experience performing system configuration for Taleo, TAM/CG, and/or Performance Management
• 8 years of experience creating and managing strategic roadmaps through planning and cross-functional collaboration
• 8 years of experience managing Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) for People Soft Recruiting and/or Performance Management
• 8 years of technical experience with App Designer, Integration Broker, SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects
• 8 years of experience supporting Recruiting or Performance Management batch jobs (RMJ)
• 8 years of experience with PUM, Fluid UI, and Elasticsearch
• 8 years of knowledge of security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy requirements
• 8 years of experience developing test scripts and performing UAT and regression testing for People Soft HCM enhancements and PUM updates
• 8 years of experience supporting cross-module integrations and resolving ERP data flow issues
• 3 years of knowledge of ITIL principles and practices for ITSM and ITAM
Preferred Experience:
• 6 years of knowledge and understanding of State of Texas policies
• 6 years of experience administering OnBoarding security and workflow routing and resolving onboarding issues
• 6 years of experience performing functional project management activities
• 6 years of Texas public sector experience supporting large state agency environments
• 6 years of experience providing Tier 2 Service Desk support with Managed Services Tier 3 coordination.
