The Business Analyst performs complex database and application development work. This work involves developing design documents, user requirements, and related business processes for the expansion and renovation of the existing Loss, Use, and Conservation (LUC) application, primarily in development of new features of the Water Loss Audit (WLA) application.

You will create and validate user acceptance testing. Will serve as a liaison between business area and Information Technology Division. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. 2+ years of experience as a data analyst analyzing raw data using Excel, Power BI, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• 4 years of software development life cycle and development life cycle concepts.
• 4 years of project management principles and practices.
• 4 years in using Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
• 4 years in writing reports using Power BI or other similar tools.
• 4 years in business analysis methodologies.
• 4 years in analyzing and evaluating complex information technology applications, policies, issues.
• 4 years in developing creative and workable solutions to complex problems and issues.
• 4 years in analyzing and interpreting technical information, including automation system documentation/specifications.
• 4 years in translating user/business needs into a technical style.
• 4 years in communicating technical instructions to system users; to analyze, evaluate, and integrate business rules into system requirements.
• 4 years in performing effectively and willingly when changes occur in scope and nature of work and work environment.
• Maintain progress with difficult assignments and meet deadlines.
• Exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
• 2 Preferred years in using diagramming and vector graphics applications such as Microsoft Visio.
• 2 Preferred years in using design tools for creating application mockups. Tools may include Balsamiq or Adobe XD.
• 2 Preferred years in using application planning, development, delivery, and operations tools such as Microsoft Azure Dev Ops.
