Job Summary
Join a collaborative team leading high impact business and technology initiatives. We’re seeking a Project Lead I with strong project coordination and stakeholder management experience to support cross functional projects from planning through implementation. In this hybrid role, you’ll develop project plans, track milestones, facilitate meetings, manage risks, and provide executive status reporting while driving process improvements and organizational success. Candidates should have a PMP certification, 3+ years of project management experience, and excellent communication skills.
Experience with large organizations, public sector environments, AI, automation, or modernization initiatives is a plus. This position requires candidates to already reside within 50 miles of Austin and work onsite three days per week.

Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage project activities from initiation through implementation.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, action item logs, and status reports.
- Gather business requirements and assist with solution planning and specifications development.
- Coordinate work across multiple departments and business units.
- Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and communicate project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support process improvement initiatives and promote standardized project management practices.
- Maintain project documentation, dashboards, meeting notes, and executive reporting.
- Track project deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support quality, compliance, and organizational project governance activities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- 3+ years of project coordination or project management experience.
- Experience developing project plans, schedules, milestones, and status reports.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional or cross-divisional initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with experience leading meetings and presenting to leadership.
- Experience with process improvement and workflow analysis.
- Ability to identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and ability to manage competing priorities.
