QA Automation Engineer

I have a new opening for a QA Automation Engineer role with Texas Department of Transportation (TX DOT). Candidates must be local to Austin, TX (living within a 25-mile radius of Austin, TX currently, no relocating candidates will be considered). On-site work is required 4 days per week for this role at the TX DOT office. Sub-vending is allowed. The max rate is $65/hr on C2C.

TxDOT work to be accomplished - QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes.

Minimum Yrs of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications - 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Skills and Qualifications - 8 Manual testing Experience (e.g., System Testing, System Integration Testing, UAT, etc. 8 Proficient in writing test plans, test cases, and other testing-related documentation 8 Writing Automated Test Scripts for Selenium Using Java or similar automated testing tools 8 Using Jira, Azure Dev Ops  or other Defect Management tools (e.g., Octane) 8
