Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure & Data Center Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating system installation, data center operations, networking, virtualization, and server hardware provisioning
. This role requires strong Linux administration and scripting skills
, along with experience in troubleshooting and maintaining GPU/CPU infrastructure
. The candidate must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across teams to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
- Install and configure Windows Server, Linux, and Unix operating systems
. - Manage data center operations and infrastructure
, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. - Deploy and maintain virtualization technologies across platforms.
- Handle networking tasks
, including rack setup, cabling, and deployment of Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment
. - Provision and configure Client and AMD servers
, ensuring proper setup and functionality. - Perform hardware troubleshooting, testing, and quality assurance for server components.
- Resolve hardware issues professionally via trouble ticketing systems (e.g., Git Lab).
- Maintain cabling infrastructure
, including port mapping and cable type identification
. - Administer Linux systems
, including scripting for automation and optimization. - Support web server and database installations (preferred but not required).
- Conduct basic lab administration and hands‑on lab activities.
- Manage asset tracking and ticket handling within Git Lab.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with executives, customers, and partners
, navigating potential roadblocks. - Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Security
, or a related field (strongly preferred). - Linux administration and scripting expertise.
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and Unix OS installation
. - Hands‑on experience in data center operations and server hardware provisioning (Client & AMD).
- Strong knowledge of networking
, including Layer 2 networking, cabling, and port mapping
. - Familiarity with virtualization technologies and hardware troubleshooting
. - Understanding of GPU/CPU infrastructure and performance optimization.
- Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., Git Lab).
- Ability to multitask, learn quickly, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
. - Strong team collaboration and communication skills
.
- Experience with RAID levels
. - Knowledge of web server and database installation
. - Prior exposure to multi‑stakeholder management and executive communication
.
