The service consists of providing operations (Incident, Change & Problem Management) support for network security infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to provide technical solution support for Network security infrastructure. The emphasis would be on skills like:
Manage Network Security infrastructure including Firewall/IPS/Load BalancersTroubleshoot and resolve incidentsPlan and implement configuration changesPerform software upgrade & hardware refreshPerform problem RCA and define, implement corrective and preventive measuresEnhance performance, security, monitoring, availability & stability for network security infrastructureSimplify and optimize through automationTechnology Knowledge Areas:
Firewalls – Cisco ASA/Firepower, Checkpoint R80/R81, Palo AltoProxy Server – Zscaler Proxy in the cloudLoad Balancer – F5 LTM, GTM, APMIPS – Experience with Tipping point/Checkpoint/Palo Alto IPS/Threat Prevention ModulesVPN – Strong knowledge on IPSEC and SSL VPNGood understanding of DNS/DHCP servicesRouting – Good knowledge on Routing concepts. Experience on static Routing/OSPF/BGP/VRF are added advantageSwitching – Good knowledge with Cisco IOS/Nexus 5K/7K/9K products. Understanding of STP/VPC/VDC/Stacking/VLAN are requiredAutomation knowledge on Ansible/Linux shell scripting is added advantageKnowledge on Splunk/Skybox/NetMRI/Net Brain tools are added advantageKnowledge on cloud solutions for Network Security (Azure/AWS)Technology
Experience:
Hands-on experience in implementation, troubleshooting & administration of Palo Alto firewalls, threat prevention modules, Panorama mgmt. platformHands-on experience in implementation, troubleshooting & administration of Checkpoint firewalls, IPS/threat prevention modules, checkpoint MDS (R80/R81), Checkpoint VSX solutionsHands-on experience in implementation, troubleshooting & administration of Cisco ASA/Firepower firewall, Multi-Context firewalls, Cisco Defense Orchestrator (CDO)Any experience with Juniper Netscreen/ Fortinet Fortigate firewallsHands-on experience in implementation, troubleshooting & administration of Trend Micro Tipping point IPS, Tipping point SMS mgmt. platformsKnowledge on proxy servers like Zscaler PITCKnowledge on managing/configuring/troubleshooting F5 load balancer (LTM/GTM/APM)Good knowledge of Tunneling Protocols (IPSEC / GRE)Hands on experience into essential routing and switching to deploy/manage firewall solutionsExperience in managing network infra using monitoring/analytical/management tools like Splunk/Skybox/NetMRI/Net BrainExperience in managing firewall solutions in Cloud infra (Azure/AWS)Soft Skills:
