We are seeking an experienced Net App Field Engineer to support enterprise customers with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Net App storage solutions. This role is ideal for a hands‑on infrastructure professional with strong storage and data center experience who enjoys working directly with customers.
Responsibilities- Install, configure, and upgrade Net App storage systems (AFF, FAS, ONTAP)
- Perform hardware installations, replacements, and break/fix support
- Configure and troubleshoot SAN/NAS environments
- Execute storage migrations, upgrades, and health checks
- Support VMware and enterprise storage integrations
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Document implementation activities and provide customer support
- Travel to customer sites as needed
- 3+ years of hands‑on Net App storage experience
- Strong knowledge of ONTAP, AFF, and FAS platforms
- Experience with SAN/NAS technologies, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, and SMB/CIFS
- Experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter
- Familiarity with Cisco MDS or Brocade Fibre Channel switches
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Net App certifications (NCDA, NCIE, or NCSE)
- Experience with Snap Mirror, Metro Cluster, Storage GRID, or Cloud Volumes ONTAP
- Experience working in enterprise data center environments
