The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team seeks an experienced Senior Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our AWS Strategic Industries, Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) Delivery team. In this role, you will manage a team of Pro Serve HCLS Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects, leveraging your IT and/or Management Consulting background in HCLS to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.
As a Senior HCLS DPM, you will build and manage a team of Delivery Consultants or Engagement Managers to architect and implement innovative solutions. You will engage with Director and C‑level executives, governing boards, and partner teams, drive business development initiatives, provide portfolio guidance, and meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets. You are responsible for opportunity capture, engagement delivery, and optimizing team performance.
Your success is measured by delivering engagements on time, within budget, and exceeding customer expectations.
- Build and manage a high‑performing team of Delivery Consultants.
- Collaborate with Delivery Consultants, Engagement Managers, Account Executives, and Cloud Architects to deploy solutions and provide input on new features.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of innovative, forward‑looking IT strategies for customers.
- Manage practice P&L, ensuring on‑time and within‑budget delivery of customer engagements.
- Drive business development initiatives and exceed customer satisfaction targets.
- 8+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting, or 3+ years of people leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
- Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape.
- Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑a‑service (IaaS) cloud computing transition challenges.
- 3+ years experience in the healthcare and/or life sciences industry.
- Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on‑premise technologies (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP).
- Experience with international sales and delivery work with global Fortune 500 enterprise customers and partners.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud technology.
- Experience building and maintaining C‑level client relationships.
- Experience with communication, presentation, and negotiation.
- Experience with enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies and distributed architecture.
Salary ranges (USD annually):

USA, IL, Chicago: 201,000 – 272,000
USA, MA, Boston: 201,000 – 272,000
USA, NC, Raleigh: 201,000 – 272,000
USA, TX, Austin: 201,000 – 272,000
