Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer, Storage and Database

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customer needs, triaging technical issues across hardware, software, applications, operations, and processes.
• Experience working with SQL/No
  
  SQL databases.
• Experience with virtualization and containers (Docker, Kubernetes, image repositories, container tooling).
• Experience writing and executing SQL queries on large datasets and log files to troubleshoot issues.
• In-depth network troubleshooting experience, including packet capture analysis.
• Knowledge of core data structures, HTTP protocol, web frameworks, and common web technologies.
• System/network administrator level knowledge of Linux/Unix or OS kernels to shell, file systems, and client‑server protocols.

• Own large and important customer issues and provide level two support to other support teams.
• Troubleshoot technical problems for customers, including debugging, networking, system administration, coding/scripting, and updating documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve product, tools, processes, and documentation to make products easier to adopt.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and site reliability teams to drive high‑quality production and improve supportability.
• Act as a consultant and subject‑matter expert for engineering, sales, and customer organizations.

US salary range: $150,000 - $218,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits. Detailed benefits information is available at Google.
