Job Description

Q2 is seeking an Application Support Analyst for Git Lab and Git Hub who will work closely with key engineering users and is considered the technical subject matter expert on these systems. This person will perform technical support functions for the systems configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of Git Lab and Git Hub enterprise functionality. The ideal candidate possesses strong administration experience with source control management and will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of Q2’s source repository tools.

• Perform IT functions such as design, evaluation, testing, debugging, implementation, and integration of application programs supporting Q2 processes and operations
• Troubleshoot Git Lab and Git Hub configuration and integration issues to identify and fix root causes
• Analyze, install, modify, and support the Git Lab and Git Hub applications and underlying technology infrastructure
• Diagnose, repair, debug, and propose corrective actions for issues in Q2’s source control management enterprise systems
• Serve as a Git Lab and Git Hub technical expert, performing complex tasks such as integrations, access management and automations
• Act as a technical project lead for the implementation of new functionality, integrations, upgrades, and patches
• Create, maintain, and support a variety of dashboards, audit reports, and queries – both standard and custom – to monitor platform usage and compliance
• Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
• Continued development, training, and certification on new Git Lab and Git Hub releases and functionality as Q2 adopts the latest features to align with operational needs

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in technical application analysis with 2+ years specifically with Git Lab or Git Hub administration or equivalent source control management tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Advanced knowledge of Git Hub and Git Lab administration and configuration; certification coursework a plus
• Understanding of change management principles associated with new technology implementations
• Previous experience supporting enterprise-level software or systems in production environments
• Expertise in advanced troubleshooting across software and network layers
• Expertise resolving escalated technical issues that span multiple domains (e.g., system configuration, database tuning, application behavior, monitoring)
• Hands‑on experience with log analysis and performance tuning
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Proficiency in JSON, YAML or similar data serialization protocols
• Understanding of Dev Ops tools, methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Self‑starter with proven ability to deliver results
