Texas Gov Link, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Informatica MDM Architect to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Responsibilities

This role will be part of Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) Enterprise Data governance (EDG) Group in support of the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) project. The successful candidate will lead the design, development, architecture, and implementation of data management solutions to improve client data across multiple healthcare systems and enable unified reporting across client domain data.

The Lead MDM Admin/Developer will be responsible for overall strategy and highly complex hands-on development work pertaining to the MDM solution including, but not limited to:

  • Developing, testing, and maintenance of enhancements to MDM application layer(s)
  • Developing extract/transform/load processes for client's system data into MDM applications
  • Planning and monitoring MDM project lifecycle deployment
  • Logical and physical data modeling of the MDM databases
  • Define and Own MDM architecture, including match-merge rules, survivorship, hierarchies, workflows and data hub.
  • Lead and support modernization and migration from on-prem informatica MDM to informatica MDM SaaS/IDMC where applicable
  • Experience designing MDM solutions on cloud platforms like OCI and integrate with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake
  • Working closely with data architects, business stakeholders and other integration teams to deliver high quality golden records across master data domains like client and providers
  • Develop and optimize landing, base and cross reference tables
  • Experience using AI-driven tools to enhance data quality, matching, and mastering processes.
  • Proficient in applying artificial intelligence and machine-learning capabilities within MDM platforms.
  • Leverages AI technologies to automate data cleansing, classification, and metadata enrichment.
  • Skilled in evaluating and integrating AI-enabled data management solutions.
  • Operational responsibility for master data loads
  • Sprint planning, task breakdown, and coordination
  • Experience with HHSC TIERS
  • Healthcare experience (in order of priority):
    • Medicaid
    • Government Medical
    • Hospital Systems
Qualifications – 8 years of experience
  • Experience as a Technical Architect leading and managing the architecture, design, implementation, and operation of enterprise-wide data management solutions
  • Advanced Informatica and ETL developer skills
  • Experience designing and implementing Master Data Management solutions
  • Experience designing and implementing Informatica Power Center custom solutions
  • Proficiency in SQL and other databases technologies
  • Experience configuring MDM on cloud platforms like OCI or implementing IDMC
  • Prior experience integrating with cloud data warehouse platforms like Snowflake
  • Previous experience managing Master Data Management and Data Governance deliverables of functional teams, such as Strategic plans/roadmaps, Frameworks, Technical Design Documents and/or Data Models
  • Facilitating cross-functional discussions with working groups and identifying, defining, and communicating MDM and Data Governance success factors to technical teams, stakeholders and sponsors
  • Ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Qualifications – 2 years of experience
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI and machine-learning-based tools to improve data governance, lineage, and stewardship workflows.
  • Experience deploying AI techniques to identify data anomalies, resolve duplicates, and optimize master data models.
  • Ability to apply predictive and generative AI tools to support advanced data analysis and MDM optimization.
Preferred (Optional)
  • Healthcare industry experience – Medicaid, Government Medical, or Hospital Systems
