In the Systems Engineer role, you’ll provide expertise in migrating hardware-based systems to cloud environments, automation, and infrastructure as code. Responsibilities & Qualifications In this role you will:
Use VMWare experience to manage and deploy current on-premise virtual machines
Apply in-depth knowledge of Windows Server OS, Linux, AD, and DNS to help manage daily infrastructure operations
Apply knowledge of change management and incident management to daily workload
Apply knowledge of Load Balancing technologies
Apply knowledge of Web Services technologies
Design and manage systems with Cloud Enablement teams to create a future state for infrastructure to modernize ITUse advanced experience with scripting languages and tools to provide automation and simplification of infrastructure environment
Create documentation and develop standards for multiple environments to organize training peers
Participate in the On-Call rotation
Required qualifications:
At least 7 years of related experience or equivalent education, training, or experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education, training, or experience
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with VMWare or equivalent technologies
Experience on virtual machine creation and optimizations
Advanced experience with Windows and Red Hat Ent. Linux OS Experience with F5 LTM and GTMExperience with automation/orchestration tools like Ansible and Terraform to expedite deployment and system configuration as well as the ability to create automated pipelines in Azure Dev Ops Advanced experience with multiple scripting languages (Powershell, Python, etc…) as well as the ability to utilize source control best practices
Advanced experience deploying and supporting Windows/AD/DNS with focus in a hybrid environment and multiple domain trusts
Experience using Agile methodologies in an infrastructure environment
Knowledge of Atlassian products Jira and Confluence Knowledge of MFA and Authentication systems

Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role.
