Contract Duration: 3 Months (Contract-to-Hire)

Pay Rate (Contract Phase): $40 – $45/hr

Salary Upon Permanent Hire: $75,000 annually

  • Administer, maintain, and upgrade network, server, and storage systems (virtual and physical).
  • Implement data center infrastructure and systems as directed.
  • Develop and maintain Windows computer images.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, addressing potential failures proactively.
  • Safeguard servers from accidental or intentional damage, ensuring security and uptime.
  • Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and synchronize Active Directory, G-Suite, and O365.
  • Schedule and verify enterprise backups (Commvault preferred) and coordinate off-site storage.
  • Provision user accounts, automation tools, and access to resources.
  • Ensure CIPA compliance and confidentiality of organizational, staff, and user data.
  • Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent IT services.
  • Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of recent full-time work administering and supporting:
    • VMware (or equivalent) and physical server infrastructures
    • Network and cybersecurity infrastructure
    • Microsoft and Linux Server OS
  • Must pass a criminal background Fingerprint check upon hire.
  • Valid Class C Driver’s License and current three-year driving record
  • If relocating from outside Texas, must obtain a Texas driver’s license within 30 days of establishing residency
Education / Certification
  • Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification from an accredited institution
  • Proficiency in enterprise infrastructure systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or advanced Technical Certification
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Commvault certification or equivalent backup software expertise
Technical & Soft Skills
  • G-Suite & Microsoft 365 administration
  • VMware vSphere 6
  • Windows imaging and deployment
  • Experience with PC, Mac, and iPad systems
  • Strong customer service focus and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and analytical problem-solving abilities
Working Conditions
  • Prolonged computer use; repetitive hand motions
  • Moderate lifting (15–45 lbs) of IT equipment
  • Travel to local sites as required
  • Occasional evening or weekend hours
  • Constant use of technology in fast-paced environments
