As a Principal Software Engineer (SRE), primary responsibility will be supporting Dev Sec Ops  tools in production environments. The engineer will be responsible for tools - reliability, continuous patching, and software upgrades. The role will be focusing on developing the solutions working closely with partner teams and onsite team members (development leads and systems analysts).

Skills and Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of experience with Dev Sec Ops  tools (Jenkins, Gitlab or any related) and building CICD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) pipelines
• Design and develop technical solutions that meet user needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Drive C4E (Center 4 Enablement) department best practices, guidelines implementation and adhering to standards.

• Experienced in configuration management and automation tools (Helm, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt Stack)
• Knowledge of agile software development practices and release management
• Hands-on Experience working with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
• Experience with Linux OS, writing scripts using shell/bash, Perl, Python for task automation
• Knowledge on security and vulnerability remediation for tools
• Knowledge on scripting languages like bash, python
• Knowledge on administrating Dev Sec Ops  tools:
  Jenkins, Gitlab, Nexus, Checkmarx, Snyk, Sonar Qube, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence). Or in related tools which perform similar functions.

Good to have:

• Experience suggesting application enhancements to support SLO/SLI/SLA criteria
• Release Deployment Management experience
